Friday 14 - Saturday 15 August: St Hilda’s College Crime Fiction Weekend. This year's events are via Zoom, and need prior registration. The theme is All Our Yesterdays. I'm dellghted to be the guest of honour, and I will be talking about my life and crimes with Val McDermid on the Friday evening. I have also written a whodunit playlet, THE MURDER OF LUCY ACKROYD, which will be performed on the Friday evening with help of Val, St Hilda's Triona Adams, Sarah Hilary, Mick Herron and Abir Mukherjee. Sunday 16 August: To celebrate publication of VINTAGE CRIMES, a new CWA anthology of classic short stories, I'm taking part in a special online panel hosted by the publisher, Flame Tree. 'CWA and Vintage Crime' will take be screened on Sunday 16 August at 6pm on Facebook. Along with fellow authors Martin Edwards and Kate Ellis, and the secretary of the CWA, Dea Parkin, I shall be discussing the anthology and crime writing, writers, stories and themes.
